Just got my new DirecTV Slimline on Wednesday and I installed it yesterday. I believe I have a bad LNB.
I get great signal numbers, 90+, on 99, 103, 110 and 119.
On 101 I get those great signals on even transponders but I get low numbers down around 50 on the odds and several are even at zero.
The Phase III I had up before had no problems with 101.
Just to be sure I took the WB68
multiswitch out of the equation and connected a receiver directly to the dish. I tried all 4 cables one at a time and same result with the signal levels. Also got the same on different receivers (H21,
HR20, HR21 and a DirecTivo). So I'm thinking a bad LNB.
I sent in an RMA request for a replacement LNB, wasn't sure if that was the proper thing to do so I thought I'd post just in case.
