AMC 3 Question
I got my system up and running,,but I have a question. In my sat set-up I have AMC 3/KU, but the problem is it is showing me 3 Tp's only, and the Tp I am interested in is 12180V tp 24. Looks like PBS is there going by LyngSat, I am running a Pansat 2800A, I think I can add TP but am unclear on the MSPS? It asks for freq. and polarity, that I can do but how do I get the last number? SR(Msps).
There might even be a better way you guys can come up with, any help will be appreciated....

The PBS stations are at 12178 V SR 30000. You will need a stereo reciever capable of decoding AC3 audio to watch them.

12178 or 12179 is not that big of difference no 2 lnbf's seem to lock on the same freq. so you should be close enough at 12179 to receive them. the audio is AC 3 you will need a decoder to receive the audio on the pbs channels.

No, the correct frequency is indeed 12180. But I agree with Rainman, that that small a freq difference won't matter, some receivers are smart enough to recognize that it is the same signal.
Re the AC3 audio, a search for sonic voom AC3 will give some options.

See many options from surround-sound systems to headphones, I saw a post that Pansat 3500 could do it, probably some one in the forums is running this box and could say for sure. I was thinking about getting a surround-sound system anyway, thanks for all the help guys, also found a post that the Coolsat 6000 could do it also I have one of these but does not work that great,,it is putting out to much voltage to the LNB and am afraid it might damage my motor or I would try it. Does anyone know what would cause to much voltage out to LNB?
I thought it might be the TIP42C but replaced that and it had no affect, did not hurt and did not help, it has to be something simple causing it to do this,,thanks again guys.
