I have a 10 foot diameter perforated dish. Actuator is Von Weise- model v 76.5, 1/5 hp 19-1 ratio 2.75 amps 24 to 36 volts. General Instrument Inovative 450i receiver. The wires from the cone voltage regulator and the actuator are probably not correctly wired.
I live in Wiggins Mississippi 39577. The geo sat finder has the latitude as 30.859n and the logitude as 89.137 w.
I am using a protractor and a Sat Buddy 2. I also took a tv to the dish. Should the tv be on channel 3? I would like the schmatic to wire up the polarizer box and the actuator. Instruct me on how to go about setting the dish and all---
Yes you are correct I have been on this project for a very long time. I would appreciate any help I may receive so I can get this completed. thanks to all I just keep reading but the light is not turned on yet in the upper story. The cone is a Chaparral cb 1317627, volts 15 to 22. This is a automatic C/KU. HELP

Good quality analog receiver, although analog is getting more and more scarce. I assume it has a VCII+ or VCRS module?
I'd recommend reading Footprints by Dish Size - Adjusting the Polar Mount for Prime Focus Antenna - C/Ku-Band Satellite Systems - Tuning, Tracking, Azimuth, Elevation, Declination Angles, F/D Ratio, Focal Distance, Inclinometer, LNB/Feedhorn Assembly, Actuator Assembly, C , which should answer the wiring questions. Re channel 3, depends on whether wired via RF or A/V, and upon setting of ch3/4 switch, etc. After looking at the above url, you can probably ask some more specific questions.
