srs01 is on a distinguished road
receiver settings ????

1- Your location: 39.645957 N, 84.166422 W
2- Receiver make and model: Mercury II
3- Dish size: 90U
4- LNBF type: Invacom SNH-031
5- Motor if any: HH100
6- Now to your question:

I've installed all equipment, and located several satellites with a signal meter at the dish. However, even at peak on the signal meter, no signal registers at the receiver ( 1-3% reading). I've checked the connections and am able to control the motor from the receiver, but signal strength and quality never go above 3-4%. I'm in ' antenna setup' USALS. Is there an obvious receiver setting I'm missing?

have your motor go to "reference or zero" setting.
make sure you're motor and satellite are pointing via compass to your calculated true south (ask if you dont know how to set that)

pick AMC2 in your satellite settings using USALS and have the dish drive to that sat it. It wont move very much. If it does, you have a setting wrong in USALS.

it would be really good to have a small tv out by the dish & motor, take your receiver out there.

Cycle thru the transponders on AMC2 and see if
12194 H 3978 is there. You need to be on active transponder to get a quality reading to appear.

Now move the whole contraption on the pole, look for a blip in quality indication. Do not move too much, 1/8" movement will lose the signal.

Once you get your highest satellite located, then you can use USALS to move to some others to hunt and see if you can locate signals.

good luck
