Invacom QPH-031

I am installing a new system and am not sure I have the LNB installed correctly.

system consist of:
Fortec Lifetime Ultra
Invacom QPH-031
Sadoun PowerTech DG240
Fortec Star 31" (80 cm) Offset Satellite Dish

The LNB's collor is wider than the dish's lnb holder. So where do I leave the excess, about an inch?

make sure you are not using the spacer that comes with fortec dishes it is not needed when using the qph-031.

I may be wrong, but I think he is talking about do you slide the lnbf back away from the dish in the holder or forward toward the dish. Most people here say to slide it back, away from the dish, and that seemed to be confirmed by my mirror experiments, however I've never noticed a difference in signal strength regardless of where the lnbf is in the holder.

Ok my mistake.

and yes I do have mine slid all the way back and it works fine.
