you should use your true south sat(closest to your longitude) to align motor see lyngsat.com for TP freq. also I beleive that the fortec lnb is a universal so set your LO at 9750 HI at 10600.

Your true south should be Galaxy 11 or Nimiq 1,because both are at 91 degrees longitude.Hope this helps.

Your dish is too small for G25 try 91W or 93W or 95W.
those are stronger signal.
97W will just fustrate you

This is a bit off topic, and a bit of a nitpick , but the title of this thread is a bit erroneous. I know that in your text, you were correctly referring to G25 and IA-5, in the subject the sat is referred to as Intelsat-5 . This sat has never been called Intelsat-5. It used to be called Intelsat Americas 5, but that is different. There IS a sat called Intelsat-5, which I think is the sat formerly called Panamsat 5. I think it is currently over Europe, but I don't think it is currently being used, but I'm not positive.
Anyway, to avoid confusion, IA5 means Intelsat Americas 5 not Intelsat 5.

I dunno about that. I do quite well with my 80cm dish on 97w.
Maybe your comment is for signal searching (initial lineup) but once the gets things setup,
80cm is OK size.
