You need to get ahold of a 1000 w/ a twin lmb & a dual lmb w/ (2) 34 switches.

The OP might already have a triple LNB on his 1000.2 dish. In this case, a single DPP44 will work. See Page 9 of the Installation Guide.

That's 6 room installation. Dish 1000.2 supports up to 6 rooms but only 3 receivers. You would need a dpp44. Use a separator for the 322 and 622 to get more rooms. Note that you will be getting more calls from time to time from Dishnetwork audit department to verify that you have all 4 receivers (6 rooms)at the same location.

How does that work? Do you unplug a receiver and carry it to the other room? Or, do you "slave" one receiver to another?

some of their receivers have a port on the back that can send a separate tv signal (usually on channel 60 or something like that) to another TV.
Uses a UHF remote, change channels on the box in 2nd room.

do that 3x and you get 6 TVs.

Does anyone know if Directv does that?
I like what I hear with HD on DirectTV these days...
I might dump cable and go with a Dish for regular TV viewing.

These are dual tuner receivers. HD Dual tuner receiver support only one room in HD, the second room would be SD carried by regular coax cable. DTV do have them but not as heavy as Dishnetwork.

I was thinking to wait till next spring, once this all shakes out between Dish, Direct, and Cable (which does have a decent HD lineup at this time, till Direct did it's thing...)

And, I did see something about Directv HR21 HD DVR doing 1080p.
If it does the multiroom thing (even SD) and I can do 1 HD-DVR, 1 HD, and send 2nd port Channels to 2 SD TV's --- I'm all covered.
