Unhappy Fortec FC-90 dish problems

NEW INFORMATION

I just measured the major and minor axis of the dish, and it's a 76cm dish. It came in a 90cm box so I'm thinking that it was Monday in China when they packed it.

I really can't think of anything that will fix this dish. I've had it too long to bother Sadoun about it and I've wasted days on it. If anyone has a suggestion I'd be glad to hear it. The dish + shipping set me back about $100, so this stings a bit.

Sadoun folks: Please weigh in here if you have a suggestion/resolution. Like I said, the box was missing parts in the beginning, the new parts kit provided didn't match up, and I have had no luck for months. Your store is a 5 hour drive from my place in PA, and 7 hours from where I live in VA. I don't have the original box any more, so shipping it back is not even an option.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

I'm confused. Looking back at your old posts, you said that you had a Winegard 76, then just a few weeks ago you said you were thinking of buying a Fortec 80. Where did the Fortec 90 (or 76) come from?

I have many dishes

Good memory! I have two Winegard offset dishes (one shown in my photo), one 1m Pansat prime focus (S-band weather receiver), one 1.8m Fortec prime focus (waiting for C/Ku band installation), and the 90/76cm Fortec offset dish. The dish you see by my post is a Winegard. I'm logging in via WildBlue, and the kids downstairs have DirecTV.

These are personal dishes in addition to what I use at work. I'm going to kill this thread when I get back to Arlington. I'll recheck the LNBF on a known good installaton, and if that isn't the problem the dish is going to become a snow saucer or a wok.

I work both analog and digital channels, so I have Pico-Macom and Blonder-Tongue analog receivers waiting for when the 1.8m dish gets installed. (Lots of government programming still on analog C-band.)

The issue with the Fortec 90 is that I ordered a 90, but I realize now that a Fortec 76 is what showed up in a 90 box. I have had poor performance from this dish, and am about to abandon it. Sadoun has been very good to me, so I'm chalking this up to life in general.
