Help finding signal

I live in Prestonsburg, Ky. My latitude is 37.636N and my longitude is 82.696W according to the best calculation I can come up with. I am using a Captive Works 600s Premium reciever. The dish I am using is either an 18" and also have a dish that is the same size as one of the super dish's(not a super dish tho just the same size), and im not sure which dish would be best. Not exactly sure what LNBF as it has no markings on it, its the same one that came with the dish's with no motor. I am trying to get 91W, 110W and 119W, I had 91W for about 2 weeks then the dish got hit or something and lost it. Now I cant seem to find it at all. Never was able to get the 110W or the 119W. I've set my angle at around 45 degrees and its about 8 feet above ground so im not sure if I need to set it at a different angle or not. Any help at all in getting this set up would be greatly appreciated as I am more interested in getting the 91W right now before the other 2 to come later. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

There isn't much Ku-Band Free to Air at 91W. A larger C-Band dish and LNB will give you something to watch there.

I can think of only one full time Ku FTA channel at 110W and another that is variable. Nothing C-Band there. A bit more on 119 Ku, but not much.

How close is Google Maps? Google Maps

Have you considered a proper FTA dish and motor, or even reviewing the rules?

Thanks for the reply, actually I read the rules and not sure if I have missed something or what, but could you let me know what you was referring to? Also when I had 91W working I had about 300 channels and they all seemed to be working great, may have just been a miracle or something as idk I am still new to all this.

Thanks, Mark

well I'll say it.

If you had 300 channels on 91w, using a captive works receiver - you were stealing TV.

Oh ok I see what your saying now, I just thought it was all free to use guess thats what I get for thinking. I thought they was all government satellites didnt know I was stealing as Im not exaclty sure what channels they are on any of the satellites or anything. Guess I need to be doing a lil more research before I start stealing as thats not what I intend to do here. Thanks for the information. Also could someone please answer the part about the dish being about 8 feet off the ground if that will have any effect on the angle of the dish as for my location it says 45 degrees elevation but is that from the ground or does it matter how high up or how low down the dish is?

Thanks.

Geosynchronous Orbit is WAY up there, over the equator. Think of your aiming as a triangle, or set of triangles, with one of the legs over 20000 miles. Eight feet aren't going to matter much on the settings, especially given the precision and accuracy of the markings on most dishes, when it comes to aiming at the satellites. Eight feet might make all the difference in the world when it comes to shooting over a roofline or tree.
