Installation of Mesh dish

Dear all,

i installed an 3.7m old mesh dish n i'm not able to track the Telstar-18 satellite. I'm using Gardiner LNB of 3.4 - 4.2GHz range. i'm not able to lock the signal.. i had tried almost everything except changing the LNB... i'm getting abt 12-13% of signal which is not enough to lock the signal.. Since its an old dish it has torn out in abt 3 places. Does it effects the signal quality???

Has anybody faced this kind of problem???
Can anybody suggest me any solution to this???

I would appriciate any kind of help...
Thanking you..

are you saying the mesh is torn out in 3 places? if so yes this will effect signal. also depends on the size holes in the mesh if you will be able to receive ku with the dish.
