No, you don't need a
DPP44 switch to do that. In fact you can just run one cable to the
VIP622 receiver, then use the DPP splitter that comes with the receiver to split the line into two.
You will only need a DPP44 switch if you have another dish pointing at another orbital location (i.e. 61.5, 148, etc).
