Can someone take a look see and tell me if that needle is supose to be bent.I think that is why im not getting anywhere with my setup.Mine has a half curve to it.According to the pdf in the picture it looks like it might be straight. __________________

yes the little needle that you speak of does have a slight bend in it.check to make sure you are using the correct lo for c band it should be 5150 and for ku it should be 9750/10600.

Also be sure you have diseqc 1.0 and LNB 1 for C, and diseqc 1.0 and LNB 2 for Ku.

You can also run a coax directly to the Ku LNB to test Ku, then move it back to C to test C.

Note that C frequencies are 4 digit and Ku frequencies are 5 digit on lyngsat.com

And that you need to have an active FTA frequency selected AND be pointed at the correct satellite to get anything on your receiver signal meter.

A coax signal meter will give a reading on any satellite. I use this for aligning my dish first.
