Dish Network Dish 1000.2 Issue's

I have a Dish Network Dish 1000.2 Dish and I can not seem to wire it correctly at the dish. Right now I'm missing one of the satellites required to receive all the channels. The way I have it set up right now I’m able to receive 119 and 129 but I can not receive 110. I’m connecting it to one receiver (ViP 622 DVR) and I really don’t know what else to try. Any help would be much appreciated

Did you try to talk to Dish for tech support?

I am not a professional, but I installed my 1000.2 with a Vip 211 a couple of weeks ago. This is what I did.

First, make sure the top of the mast is level, both forward/backward and side/side. Use a level, don't eyeball it. Be precise.

Set your skew and elevation for your location. Don't overtighten the bolts when setting the angles, but good and snug. Install the dish assembly on the mast without the triple LNB. Route your RG6 cablefrom the 211 up the tube and connect it to "Port 1". Mount the triple LNB to the support tube and install the screws, handtight just good and snug.

Run a check switch and then cover the two outside LNBs (110 and 129) with foil leaving the middle one (119) as the only LNB to receive a signal. Go to the 'Point Dish' screen and select satellite 119 and transponder 11 (I get a strong signal on that one) and slowly move the dish assembly from east to west. When you start to get a signal, wait and see which satellite it locks onto. If it is not 119, keep moving the dish assembly in the appropriate direction until you can lock onto 119.

Did you notice the weight of the triple LNB on the longer support tube caused the dish assembly to sag a bit? You might have to increase your elevation some. The elevation for my location is '35', but after fine tuning to get the best signal out of all satellites, it ended up to be '37'.

After you have found 119, remove the foil and see if 110 and 129 come in.
