Don't lose that one. That's where you can find the Steeler's preseason games.

Rain
Yeah PMB ... 6' Dish with a VBox into my soon to be replaced Classic N/A
Rain stopped me in my tracks.. I'm tracking part of the band, getting close... Analog saved me Made it a lot easier...
For tonight, I left the dish where it is on this one sat I just peaked.. (I know, Im not doing it correct but back to hard head mode)...
Not exactly sure where I am, But I have a feeling I may be on 99... I am seeing ABC channel 7, Some channel that the receiver is identifying as WHT (there is a test pattern on WHT-2) and a few other channels that look pretty good...
Stop raining, I can get it done tomorrow!!! ==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
I am going to hook up the old Analog up here to (Houston Tracker Circa Early 90'w). I just used it to easily see where the birds were but there was some good stuff up there, I was a bit surprised.. (Prob just feeds, but still .......)
OK YOU GUYS HAVE ME SUPER HOOKED AGAIN!!

Not Bad
If I look at it hard, I can see a few sparkles in there, but its no worse than my cable All in all, much more than I expected out of this little 6' dish...

No Doubt..
Yepper, this Sat was 1 of my 2 main objectives for putting up C Band. I got all the nets ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and CW. All solid but not particularly strong, about 56 on the meter. WHT is about peaking the meter at 90%. Again, I still have some tuning to do. Was working on it when the storm hit...
Tomorrow I want to peak out 95 and see if I can catch the RTN channels (I hear they're a bit weaker). I think from what I see I am kinda tracking the arc, although there appears to be lots of room for fine tuning...
The C Band was the easiest solution to my quest for extra good channels (as you know, my view of the arc will never be better than 55 to 110 because of the large hillside).. Since it would take about 400 ft of expensive cable to get to the top of the hill (to get G10 123) I figured this was the simplest solution. (Plus it appears there is a lot more programming that I am seeing that is not listed , especially on the analog side which I thought was dead)....

Great Job...
You're doing a great job at finding those C band signals. As soon as this rain stops here I want to start installing my 1.8m C band dish after hearing about your results.
After hearing that you were amazed by just how much analog is still available, I looked on LyngSat to find that just between 91 degrees (Galaxy 11) and 99 degrees (Galaxy 16) there are 44 stations or feeds broadcasting in analog. Now I want to get out my old analog receiver and start playing.

More analog stations / feeds
An additional 15 analog stations / feeds exist on Galaxy 28 (89 degrees) and AMC 3 (87 degrees).
I am getting excited too Bibbler! I just hope this rain stops so that I can play.
