Slaving Fortec 786.v3 to Motorola DSR-922
Hello Sadoun and other members. Received you slave kit today. Hooked it up. I have a big dish with both c/ku bands. I was able to get the ku-band to work as per your instructions, but the c-band would not work. I will spend more time on this tomorrow, but my question is: on setting ANTENNA 1 FOR C-BAND: Is the 22Khz Tone: off correct? I dont have a clear understanding as to why both ANTENNA 1 and ANTENNA 2 are set for OFF on the 22Khz Tone. Please steer me in the correct understanding on what this does. If I'm right it is actually an intelligent signal switch that tells the DISEQ to switch or select A input or B input. I also set the LO to 5150 for C-band. I assume this is correct also. The instructions I follwed are from you post Thu Apr 24, 2003 9:02a.m.
Thanks. Also note that I have a seperate Actuator on the big dish to switch from Horizontal/Vertical in the horn. Art

system now working
System was set-up per Sadouns post. Seems that you have to manually input TP's to search for that are most updated from lyngsat. I tried the auto all tp search, but cant really verify at this time witout further data observation if tp's or updated tp's are being loaded into my system.
For now I'm receiver c/ku band on the Fortec 786.v3 using the 10 foot dish and lnbs for receiving
