DishNet/BellVu uses circular polarization. I need a DishNet/DirectTV lnbf to get their channels. 18" is fine.
FYI, Most of DN video channels are encrypted. Audio channels are FTA.
Don't forget to set the LO @ 11250

Encrypted means they channels are not free. Yes, you need to to buy DishNetwork and subcribe to see these channels. DishNet does not allow users to use any third-party receiver, meaning even you have a receiver which accepts smart card, you still can't subcribe to DishNet.
Some transponders on Echo7 are spot beam, meaning only certain area can see these transponders. Pick the conus one to test your receiver.

Encryption removed does happen but very seldom (example: they upgrade their hardware, or promotion for premium channels like HBO...). All the audio channels are FTA though.

yes; there are some video channels too -- especially on Nimiq 82 -- there are several free channels happening for the Premium channel promotion by Bell ExpressVu.Originally Posted by etlam34

What video channels are in FTA now on N2? I'm supposed to have my dish installed on N1 and N2 today.
those new channels like Silver Screen Classics, COOL, MTVRetro, MLOUD and EuroNews; I just noticed it last night during an install. Those channels came in before I activated the system so they must be unencrypted.Originally Posted by etlam34
