    hispasat 30W/help please

For a beginner, I have a 120cm offset dish with ivacom single LNB. Using birdog for finder. My location -97W with 44 L. Why I am not able to lock on to this bird. True heading is 106.6 with 7.7 elevation. What I am doing wrong that no stronger signal than 65%.

What transponder are you using when trying to lock the signal? Could it be that you are using an inactive transponder or a transponder that is not beamed to US.
