I think TSReader only shows errors it cannot recover from.

Rod might give you the right answer over on satforums.

You can see on a spectrum analyzer that the signal is there. Here is a snapshot of horizontal on G3C.
    Hi VJ
I'm curious what spectrum analyzer gave that trace, and did it come from a 4' dish? I've always wanted to get a real spectrum analyzer, but except for speed, I'm really happy with the traces I get using the unmodified Broadlogic card, using Hans' blscan program plus my display program. Ie I get the following:

comparing that to your trace, I was having a little problem recognizing peaks from one trace to the other, but I think that is because your trace started below 3700, on the other hand, I'm not sure what it's picking up down there???

But anyway, what spectrum analyzer did you use, and what size dish did it come from???

My trace came from BLSA (http://www.moonglow.net/tvro/blsa.html) .

It did come from a 120cm offset dish. I'm not suprised that you don't recognize some peaks since they are most likely strong signals from surrounding sats. Exactly why 120cm is just for hobby and not the ideal solution for c-band

Please be aware that a 4 foot dish and Cband is a very compromised system.
You will only be able to pick up the very strong Cband signals.

Please go to www.lyngsat.com, and pick out some of what you think you would like to receive on Cband, and I (and others here) can tell you if it will come in or not on a 4foot dish.

Unless you like Christian broadcasting, there isn't much more than that with small Cband dish.

One of these days I'll map out what I'm getting on Cband and post here...

    BSC621-2 & 120Cm Offset Dish

Thanks for the advice. I do not have much a choice. Big dish is out of the question. I'm looking at it this way whatever one C-band signal is better than no signal at all.
