Great pics, I want to bring my 1 meter Fortec Star Dish off my roof. Could you please tell me how high your post was? Did you put it in concrete? Where do you get these posts? What is the diameter of the post? Does that LNB work for C and KU Sats?

You'll really need a polar mount and actuator or heavy duty H-H motor. This dish will be too big to just put on one of the motors sold here for smaller dishes. It may be that the mount you have is, or can be adapted to being a polar mount, so that all you need is an actuator. Re the positioner, any less than 15 year old IRD will move a dish with an actuator. You can also get a VBOX type positioner, but that won't control the polarotor that your feed probably has. Stand alone positioners exist (I still have one from my first dish (~20 years ago), but you'd have to be very lucky to find one. I actually found one in the trash at my town's spring metal cleanup, but I was afraid ( of causing xyl trouble ) to bring it home, even though it was still in pristine condition.

    Hello,
Where did you get your conical scalar ring for the BSC621-2 LNBF?
I am looking for one too.
I see that they are still not available yet in Sadoun's store.

From a guy on a different message board.
Both VJ9999 and I got them from same guy.

He only had a limited few of them, once they were gone it did not appear he could get anymore.

I have no idea where to get one of these anymore.

Darn! I was afraid that would be the case.
Maybe I can use one of those Devo hats instead?
They are probably not metal though...

I guess I will just have to find a cheap, used BUD some where.

Actually I got mine with an c-band LNB I bought from another retailer (I am loyal to Sadoun, but that retailer was the only one who had it at the time).
