For free to air reception you will need a minimum of 30"+ dish. Your 18" dishes will not work as there is nothing FTA on directv of DN that is worh your efforts.

ok i was told and have seen where a 18 inch dish and a dual lnb was used to pick up fta channels will there be a problem if that set up is used ??? will a super dish or a at3 dish the five lnb dish from directv give me a better chance of picking up fta satellites
also what channels will i get ??? i heard there are lot of sports . is there any movie channel lik hbo showtime etc i also heard that there are porno channels on a canadian satellite galaxy 99 i belive
Like Sadoun says... there is nothing FREE on these satellites or the Canadian service (Bell ExpressVu) either. So forget your hopes of getting sports, HBO, movies and porn.Originally Posted by Admin
