Hi, I have an 8 foot bud with LNBs in a feedhorn with a servo motor to control polarity. I have this hooked to my Fortec Ultra with the help of a little box that I got on ebay a few years ago. It's a little metal box that sits on the dish and connects between the dish and the receiver. It also has three outputs that connect to the servo motor (+5, pulse, and GND). So, it converts the 13V/18V output from the receiver into pulses for the servo motor. This box has worked great for the past few years.
Unfortunately...the box was filled with rusty water and broke. I tried to repair it, but without schematics, I haven't had any luck. I can't find any source for a replacement. If I could, I'd consider getting an Aston Satseeker, but I can't find this anywhere either. Does anyone have any idea where to get either one of these boxes or do you have any other advice?
Thanks
Brad
you can get a cheap c band receiver to control servo motor.
