1.2 HH Motorized Motor Manual for dummies needed.

Hi I'm very green to all this and need instructions written in laymen/remedial terms. Is there directions that you can point me to please...I have a fta receiver. I have an 18 inch dish set up and all with the motor...now I need to program it "in the air" find the point in the arc etc...where do I start..\\\finish? Thanks so much in advance for your help!

If i read your post correctly, your dish is one of the DBS 18" kind. you will need a larger dish to get anything for your FTA reciever to pick up. As your south sat. is amc5, you'll need at least a 30" dish to pick something up off of that.

you may be able to get a card station or NASA tv off of one of the echostar sats, not sure if you can orient the motor off that though.

but I used to get Bev with no problem...how come you're saying I can't get ll0 or/and ll9?

FTA (free to air) refers to watching signals intended by the provider to be free aand for you to watch. Bev, Dish, Directv are subscription services and CANNOT be viewed with FTA equipment. Any attempt to do se is illegal and not allowed for discussion on these forums.

To receive satelites other than the above mentioned 3 (which are on very high powered satellites) you will need a dish that is at least 30"+.
