    Frustrating hobby

I got out of ham radio to go into this hobby. While it is rewarding because I can see countries I will never be able to visit I have found it also can be frustrating. About the time you get used to watching a station is scrambles or disappears.

For about a week I have been watching a sports channel from Ireland, was getting used to it being around and sure enough, tonight it is scrambled. Guess the lesson I need to learn is don't count on anything, huh?

Unfortunately, that's the nature of this hobby. Not sure if you have a h-h mount yet. If not, you might consider it so you are not tight up on 1 sat.
