    Unhappy TAN TV System Installation

I was getting great service for about three years. On Dec 7, 2009 we had a bad windstorm which knocked out my system. TAN TV furnished me with a new receiver and new dish and mounting hardware. I have done everything I can think of and cannot get a signal higher than 45%. Signal quality is zero. I have tried everything I can think of but no change. There is nothing blocking the signal. The dish post was installed using a level. The elevation is set correctly, The dish is been moved side to side to every position imaginable with no change in signal strength or quality. Does anyone have any idea as to the problem?
Any ideas or information would be welcome and appreciated.

Do a factory reset on your receiver. Start over. Did TAN TV provide you with instructions on how to set it up?

Do you have picture of your dish Installation you can share here?

    TAN TV System Installation

I did a factory reset and did a complete redo on the Installation. Still having the same problem. I do not have a picture of my installation. I did the initial installation (before the windstorm) and it worked pefrectly.
Tan TV did not furnish any installation instructions. I have been talking to their tech people by phone and it seems they are as confused as I am. Thanks for your input and assistance.

How have you tried to do your testing. Can you have a receiver and TV at the dish with new wiring (coax) have you tried another LNB. It sounds as though the mast or mount may be out of alignment or not plumb, or the elevation of the dish may have changed. I know this may sound redundant, but if the receiver is good and the dish is good and the LNB is good it must be alignment.
When you find the cure please let us know it may help someone else.
    Be patient and good luck.

    TAN TV System Installation

Jim, thanks for your input. I have tried everything I can think of and also tried all your suggestions. No luck still. I am going to call in a Pro and let him fix the problem. If he can find the problem, I will post the results and the fix. Thanks again
