Are you 100% sure your cable is going to the right place on the back of the receiver. Acts like no or bad cable. Make sure it's on LNB input not on antenna input....
Did you start by setting up your true south with the motor and dish as a unit before you started to move the motor with the remote or receiver, all the motor angles depend on a true south satellite quality signal so the other satellites are all lined up...LINE UP TRUE SOUTH first then fine tune for the best signal quality and then all the others are in the right place when you move to them.... Or did you use a shortcut and just try to find G3C first. Shortcuts in the motor setup are the usual cause of later problems..
There are no shortcuts when installing a motorized system...start over at TRUE SOUTH and double check each step before going to the next step...a METHODICAL approach gets the best results.
Shortcuts often mean failure to get proper satellite or no signal quality. The angle charts are a very rough guide, not absolutes, 1/2 degree off on any one angle means you get little to nothing for signal quality...
Take the receiver and a monitor to the back of the dish and use the receiver/monitor as a satellite alignment tool to find the proper satellite signal.. your trying to hit something the size of a school bus with a hand held laser pointer without any reference tools.... MOST DIFFICULT, almost impossible....
