    Help with bsc621

Im having problems getting c/ku band on a 9ft mesh dish using BSC621. also have the v-box to move the dish. I have a couple of questions....

    1. in the middle of the mesh dish, there is a small hole, is it suppose to be covered? I never notice it...

    2. BSC621 will it work with a standalone viewsat ultralite receiver?

    3. wht is the best way to centered a align the lnb to get signal strength

    4. which sat and tp do I aim for in regards to getting good signal strength.

the way im doing it is that I take a 20" television, the viewsat receiver and coax cable. I connect the coax to the c-band terminal and to the back of the reciever...i move the dish manually using the v-box and hope to see signal strength on my television...its a pain in the behind trying to lock signal and being on top of the roof since it can get so hot that I stop trying. live in southern california HELP!!!!
    thanks in advance

its funny I waited 4 months to realign my dish - it was too cold & snow to do. You are at the exact opposite of the spectrum!

Do it at night. Get yourself a portable halogen light

    1. Dont worry about the hole.
    2. Yes
    3. Use a C band signal to coarse tune, then Ku signal to fine tune
    4. What's your zip code again? (you want to line up with the highest one on your arc, it's just easier)
