I have a 30in Winegard dish, one of those 119/118 LNBs, and a older SG2100 motor that I brought about 2 years ago. Yes I have been buying little by little!
I went to dishpointer.com and here is that I got from there:
Latitude: 40.9098°
Longitude: -74.6481°
Motor Latitude: 40.9°
Declination Angle: 6.4°
Dish Elevation: 24°
Elevation: 42.7°
Azimuth (true): 180.0°
Azimuth (magn.): 192.9°
So, I set my motor latitude to 40.9 and the dish to 24 but can't see to hit anything. I then changed my motor's latitude to 42.7 and left the dish elevation to 24 and it seems that I can only hit 110.
What am I doing work? I watched the video posted and they said that the dish elevation should be the latitude minus the declination (40.9-6.4)= 34.5.
Should me dish elevation be 34.5?
you need to get a different lnb for regular sat's you have a circular lnb you need a linear lnb.
