G25 dish installation problem

I am new to FTA. I istalled a 31" dish for G25. I followed all instructions by the book. The skew and the azimuth got them from dishpoint.com on my birdog i got signal up to 80% but still searching. What I am missing. any hints?

Check the LNBF type on your dish. If it is UNIVERSAL, make sure you are using the universal settings on the Birdog.

Also, check your dish, connectors, and jumper cable you are using with the BIRDOG.

I have a viewsat receiver. and 1000 Dishes Pro Plus with three LNB on a single yolk need to no the proper setting on my receiver. Please help !

cleo read the Rules. The dish you have is not for FTA.

If you have a "UNI" lnbf your Birdog does not have that category in it from the factory. You will need to download that lnb type from their website. The best method we recommend is to go on our website into "Set up Support" and use the guide there. We have a tremendous success rate with our Tech Support page and links therein. If you don't want use your Birdog then just use the receiver's antenna set up signal meter. Look for a Signal Quality of above 50%.
