BSC-621 STANDARD.......I just need it for the north american satellites...
the standard version uses 22khz switching so this should be set to on for c band and off for ku band, don't know this receiver enough to give all the settings but for ku your lo should be set at 10750 and for c band should be set at 5150.
Can anyone else help me figure out the lnb type and lnb power? so if 22khz is activated then I disable diseqc settings? please advice
this lnb uses the 22khz tone to turn on the KU side.
so the KU should use 22khz on
C-Band 22khz off
Ok Im getting two different answers.....so what is it....
22k tone on for what band and off for what band??
rainman tells me one thing and then gremlin 411 tells me something else....
anyhow I still cant lock in signal but im getting over 85 percent as far as quality bar is concerned but its red not green so not locking in......
help! help! thanks!!
if you have 85% in red you are real close move in SMALL amounts and you should get to green.
Like rainman I have BSC-621-2 and I picked it because I could not use the 22khz switching for the setup I am trying to use. but it sound like you are close
thanks for the clarification.....Im so close I could smell it but unfortunately I been workin long hours the past couple of days and tomorrow, rain is in the forecast...I guess Im going to have to wait until the weekend...I figure now it might be a skew issue since im getting 85 percent red....funny though I get full signal on the sat meter...
