I assume you are using Satellite Dish Pointer / Alignment Calculator with Google Maps to set up your page. Since I see that Sadoun is sponsering that site. Good idea, because I think the 'dishpointer' website is a great website. Unlike your pointer page, their website also shows what channels are available from the site of the dish and the satellite, along with the size of dish necessary (real cool). It also tells of the encryption used. It is a real awesome website and it is good you are using them. I hope Sadoun gets a lot of business from their sponsership...
VA 39N, 78W, Mercury II, Fortec 31", 36", 72", SG2100, DG-280, H180 (two DSR-922's sitting in a closet and to be the next project) HDTV TV with no pay tv.
Yep, we are sponsoring them. The satellite channel data and footprints are courtesy of SatcoDX. Dish size values are beta at the moment.
IThe problem I have with all this calculator is the present wrong skew.
I know what the skew and elevation is for my area for dish 500 but the calcultor always give a wrong skew
05-29-08 - I went to the dishpointer website... and I couldn't find the link to give us the list of channels available for each satellite received... bummer... I wonder why they took it off. I will have to swing on a tree back to Lyngsat....
