Moving receiver between Legacy and DP LNB/switch

Hope someone can give me a definate answer.
At home, I have Legacy Dishnetwork LNBs and switchs. I bought a new DP301 receiver that will work on Legacy and DishPro LNBs.
I am planning to also use this receiver in my RV using a DishPro LNB.
My question is as follows: Can I just move the receiver from home to RV and run the Check Switch utility to find new switch, ( and then move back to home and run utility again) ? Or will it want to stick with legacy hardware and not allow me to move back and forth?
Thanks,
Camille Stephan

Running CHECK SWITCH everytime you move it will do the trick.
