in normal terms what is the diff between the 2
and what can you get from 1 not from the other.
asking cause i have both use the qph but dont know much about the snh031

The SNH031 is a single ouput linear UNIVERSAL LNBF
The QPH031 is a 4 output (2 Circular for DSS/DBS signal and 2 Linear STANDARD for regular KU band signal)

the snh will get some of the lower ku freq ( used on some of the atlantic sats) qph will get circular sats like nimiq and echo star. both will do the normal ku freq.

Also, since the QPH031 is a "standard" 10750 lnbf, it can also be used with some DCII receivers, where a "universal" lnbf is not generally compatable, at least with the receivers I'm familiar with. So it's a question of whether you might be interested in low band KU over the atlantic, or potentially adding a DCII receiver in the future (not sure that the future of DCII is looking that great right now).
