Hi, I have a tripod, 33 inch dish, and an hhmotor.

I was wondering if it is possable to setup a motor using a tripod,
or will I just be wasting my time?

thanks

if you want to make it a permanent mount would recommend pouring a concrete pad to bolt it to.

what would me starting point be (true south)
I live in montreal, canada at 45.38 '49.23n and 73.29 '33.03w.

also what would be the strongest satellite and transponder to start with.

thanx

your best bet on true south sat would be amc6 at 72 degrees they have a religious channel that burries the meter on my ultra. check www.lyngsat.com for freq.

if you are only using 1 lnb you won't need a disqec switch.
