Fortec Lifetime Ultra Receiver with PanSat PM900 motor ...

I set up my motor with elavation 34 degrees and dish elavation is at its 25 degrees according to the Pansat PM 900 manual but i couldn't get any signal ...
My location is at 33.7N 117.9W ...
Can anyone help me to set this up ? Does this Pansat manual calculate the elavation for both my motor and dish right ?
pmb1010 you out there ? ~

figures, I had a nicely type response and internet fizzes out when I went to post it.... so I lost it all.

bottom line - I calculate 41 for your dish angle, not 25

see here:
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installati...stallation.htm
to get the formula 46.5 - table value

and here:
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installati...NGLE-TABLE.htm
for the table value of 5.5 for your location.

No you wont be able to get those.

Your highest sat is Satmex5 at 117W.

Your limits east and west are approx 61.5East (echo 3) and 167West.

The most west sat on the asia lyngsat view is 177W so you wont be able to get it.

Maybe someone from west coast can pop in with comments, I'm over on east coast.
