Dish Elevation

Is the dish elevation set to the same as the motor elevation??

No. You have to use a program to figure out the elevations.

As on the page "NOTE:For any model, motor elevation is always equal to you lattitude value." I was wondering if I read that right.

Yes, the motor elevation is equal to your latitude but the dish elevation is different. That's why you need to use the calculator in Sadoun's HH Motors help page.

30" dish pansat motor.what is the real elevation for ch

Hi my pansat drive motor manual say 24 elevation is for my dish.Now how do I set this with a angle finder on the arm?The elevation mark is hard to read. Help me please.The motor shaft is set to zero.And the motor lat.is set to 42(there no in between 1/2'' mark). Now I am guesting when you set the lat.the motor elevation is set to( on the motor elevation is on one side and the lat. is on the other).Thanks
