How do I get my motorized system on the Clarke belt?

I have been trying for days to align a 36" dish to amc-6/ku sat wich is my true south eventhough i have strong signal from a sat finder still no quality. I live in boston my long is 71, my lat is 42 the motor's elevation is 42 the dish elevation is 40 my true south supposedly is 180 degrees + 15.7. I think i have a good setup but still nothing is happpening please help!!! i have a pansat 2700a.
