No digital signal from DishPro s-video

I have a Dishpro model DP301. I run this through a Pioneer VSX-D850s. This reciver can process digital signals at 32KHZ 44kHz, and 48kHz. However, with the S-video feed coming in to the digital side of the reciever, I cannot select a digital signal (only analog shows on the reciever fron panel)

I cannot find info on the s-vedio output for the DP301. My hunch is that it is too low for the receiver. any thoughts?
Thanks

S-video is, by nature, an analog signal. The Dishnet 301 does not have a digital video or audio output. You will have to use the red and white stereo audio cables to connect it to your A/V receiver.
