HH-90 motor stuck in zero position.

Ihave Fortec Lifetime ultra and HH-90 motor. The motor used to move antenna (when motor was in a good mood , I guess) but now stopped moving. I changed cables three times, finally getting Belden cable, but it did not help. The motor is stuck in zero degree position. The cable is 50 ft long, so the drop of voltage should not be a problem. I am not sure whether it is the Lifetime box or the motor problem. Any suggestions?

I tried it both ways. The dish does not move.
Before it stopped moving, it responded to USALS
commands, but it tended to get stuck at the extremes.
Then next day it would go to zero position without my
intervention.

i have the same motor with almost the same problem, but before it died it would just go side to side. I called sandoun and the girl said to fill the rma form out and send it back and they would replace it.

motor problems

Try this...
Turn the receiver off from the back switch. Wait 5 min. and then turn it on again. Go to antenna setup>select a satellite>see if the motor moves. This worked with me several times. I think it's a usual problem with that motor on that receiver. Hope it will for you.
