Can I receive FTA channels using Dishnetwork receiver?

I have the Arab Elite package offered by Dishnetwork using their superdish. I'd like to receive the Arabic channels FTA on Tel5. How can I do that? Can I use the same receiver I have to pickup these FTA channels, using a second dish pointing to Tel5? Would the LNBF from Dishnetwork (I have an extra dish and with its LNBF) and their DP34 switch (I would buy one I guess) work?

Excuse my zero knowlrdge!! I am just starting to know stuff!!

Well.. the dishnetwork receiver cannot receive telstar 5.

Your best bet in this situation is to dish out, no pun intended, about 250 for a fortec 80 cm dish, universal lnb, and ultra lifetime receiver. But thats just my opinion.

No. The preview channels are the only FTA.
You have a Ku DBS/BSS lnb for 110/119. T5/IA5 needs a 1 meter dish & a Ku FSS lnb, which are the 105 & 121 lnb's.
Superdish is 1 meter it could be used to get 97 only.
Charlie swirchs only work with charlie irds.

There are very few FTA channels on 110 and 119 but you can get a few.
