Elsewhere in the forum, Iceberg had answered a member's question concerning local channel availability by saying "You technically can only receive locals from your DMA (Designated Market Area)." (The member lived somewhere between Chattanooga and Atlanta, but wanted Los Angeles stations).
I currently live in Los Angeles but am being transferred on assignment for 18 months to the midwest; I am keeping my service activated at my house (where the bill will still go) in LA, but planned on taking a receiver with me to St. Louis. When Iceberg said "technically", is that to imply there is someway of my receiving the LA
spanish stations in my new location? Would one of the new superdishs work (i.e., is it a function of what sat you're pointed at or is it some administrative switch that Charlie flips on and off)?
