:?: 1- must check your wire first , look for spliters or water damage , mostly the problem check your F connectors must be tied on wire ,dish pro lnb output frequency is from 950 to 2150 mhz and it require at least a good rg6 stack , 2- bad lnb , 3- reciever connector faulty (back of reciever openning on the connector to big ) making bad contact with cable......must do first 1,2 and 3 good luck.

i mean cramped to the cable , listen check your cable for any water damage outside look around connectors sometimes that's the problem open any connection you got and double check for corrosion , then change your lnb at last .

the problem is with the 301 itself. the chip in the tunner modual is a known issue. on some 301. if you use a legacy twin or 2 single lnb's with a sw21 switch. you will be good to go.

check switch will look like this

119 119 110 110
odd even odd even

will count to 28 instead of 2 like a dp

IF YOU HAVE A DISHPRO TWIN LNB WITH A PART NUMBER OF CCS9601 THAT WAS MADE IN CHINA, IT HAS A TENDENCY TO FAIL CAUSING SYMPTOMS LIKE YOU DESCRIBE. THE FAILURE RATE IS HIGHER IN HOTTER CLIMATES. USING A LEGACY LNB (NON DISHPRO) WILL CORRECT IT. IF YOU ARE ALIGNED PROPERLY, DO NOT BE ALARMED IF YOU SHOW NO SIGNAL WHEN REPLACING A DISHPRO LNB WITH A LEGACY LNB. RUN THE CHECK SWITCH TEST, AND AFTER IT DOES ITS 38 CHECKS,YOU WILL NOW SHOW SIGNAL LEVEL. WHEN RUNNING CHECK SWITCH, USE THE 119 SAT AND TP 11.

god you still having problems, today i will suggest you get your self a volt-meter and mesure if any power coming from you reciever you should read between 13v and 18v ( at satellite in connector) . or found a friend that have dish and try you reciever & lnb one at a time there. good luck

I don't think any of the things above is the problem. When you do your TP search, make sure you use NIT!! This will solve all the odd/even problems. And make sure the polarity is set to V/H.
