I just moved to Virginia and brought my old DISH sat dish, reciever, etc. with me. What prevents me from rigging it all up and finding the satellite and just getting free tv? Or is that something I get for purchasing the old satellite dish? If so, which Echostar satellite should I use or can I use any of the satellites. I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I'm new to all this. Thanks.
Most programm on Dishnetwork are on the Echostar 119W satellite. If you have a DISH500, then you will use 110 and 119 satellite. Check your Azimuth, Elevation, and Skew for you new location and adjust the dish accordingly.

In your calculator you list only echostar 1,2,3 and 4 satellites. In your response, you mention two echostar satellites but don't indicate which ones they are in your calculator. Could you translate for me please. Thanks.
When you click on the satellite name in the calculator http://sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/S...Calculator.htm you will see the position of that satellite in the "Satellite West Longitude" window. Or you could just enter the satellite longitude manually.
