Basic installation: USA$100-$150 depending on the location and how hard it is.

Bobkat...
Here is an example... A customer wants you to run the cable into the basement (whish is finished by the way), then fish the cable to the family room all the way across the house on the opposite side where the dish is installed. Would you charge this customer the same amount as the one with a simple drilled hole through the wall ?
I know customers might expect you to do miracles, but with labor cost is high and time is of the essence, we can't wire the whole house for $100... right?

Nope; I would say "Seeya later, Pal..."
Seriously, the only way to run the cable as you mentioned would be to run it along the outside of the house and then drill through the brick into the family room and put on a wall plate with an F81. There is no way of fishing cable through a finished basement ceiling especially if the floor joists run perpendicular to the direction that the cable is run. In fact, to be honest, I have never fished a cable through a finished wall or ceiling. If the customer insisted it be fished I would refuse the install.

I think installer should be able to charge more for extras. It's hard though if you travel long distance to the job. You don't want to lose gas and time so you end up doing what the customer wants for same charge...
