Alternative 121 no switch found
I have old KU band AlphaStar Dish with LNB, it was point to Telstar 5 , before I move to 121 I got the signal with 50% but wrong sat warning because it is on T5. Then I did check switch but no switch is found.
Question. Do I need to have check switch successfully in order to get my signal when I start aiming to 121 , what kind of result should I got, since there is no switch attach to cable line.

First off; the old AlphaStar LNB will not work for DishNetwork; it is a linear and you need a circular polarity LNB.
Get the proper LNB and then you can worry about switches; but you really don't need any switches if you have only one receiver and you are pointing at only one satellite.

kat-
121 needs a linear LNB. Sounds like he wants to do a "poor man's Superdish"
nttcar-
You would have to have it aimed at 121 before you do a check switch. If its on the wrong satellite, it won't register it correctly.
How many receivers are you wokring with?
How is it set up now (switches and whatnot)?
Need a little more info

the 2 birds that Charlie is using for new locals (105 & 121) are only 5 & 2 degrees off their main birds. They are a lower powered.
"Poor Mans Superdish" was something that came about with too many people having old Primestar dishes and they figured out how it worked.
Since Charlie decided to screw with existing customers (new customers get the SD install right away..existing customers have waited up to 5 months for it), some of us decided on the other route.

Combine Alternative 121 with 110 and 109 what Switch
Finally, I got my 30" dish point to the 121 and got the signal, the other question is how do I connect my existing 110/109 (sw21) with 121 SAT, what type of switch I need ?

Re: Combine Alternative 121 with 110 and 109 what Switch
IF you use a FTA DVB receiver which support Diseqc switch, you can use a Diseqc 4 ways to switch between 110, 119 and 121. If you use a DishNet receivers, you will need to search for what kind of switch DishNet uses for switching these lnbfs. I am not familiar with DishNet switch type.

Make sure your receiver has the lastest software which support 121. I don't know much about DishNetwork receiver. You might contact DishNetwork asking what kind of switch is require for your receiver to get multiple sats.

There was a SW21-X switch that was used to combine 110/119 with 61.5. I don't know if this would work on the 121 bird.
