Can't get system working

I am located in orlando, florida. Lat 28.5, Long 81.1. I have my SG2100 motor set at 28.5 lat. Pole is plumb (used inclinometer). Dish is at 30 - declination = 25.25 (interpolated with 28 and 29 giving declination of 4.75). When I select a satellite to make the motor turn I have to move the dish a little to get on target. After I get on target (Echostar 110W) I am able to find (Echostar 119W) by saying go to there as well. These are the only two I can track. I am using a Winegard DS2076 dish and an SV8000HD receiver. Something that seems strange though is even though my motor latitude is set at 28.5, my motor elevation is only about 56.5. Is something wrong with the markings because I thought it was supposed to add up to 90 degrees?

Include in your calcs, the declination angle, and that total should be close to 90 degrees.
It sounds like you are using a circular LNB. In order to get the majority of FTA sats, you need to be using a linear LNB. Tell us what equipment you have, receiver and LNB etc... and what you are looking to do.

I am using SG2100 motor, Winegard 2076 dish, quad polar legacy LNB, and SV8000HD receiver. I don't know what type of LNB I am using. I just know that it can accept the 110 and 119 satellites. With the declination angle aside, I thought that the markings on the latitude and the elevation scale are supposed to add up to 90. The declination isn't in that calculation from what I was thinking. Just the sum of those two.

They either rip you off or your bought wrongs parts.
For a motorized setup you absolutely need to concentrate on finding your true south satellite which in this case is the AMC5 located @ 79.0°W.
Be my guest to read this forum rules as they are very educational.

What do you mean I got ripped off or bought the wrong parts? I just told you what parts I got. And I do know what LNB I have. Just ignore that part.

Cool your target ( we call it true south!)

If your target is 110°W and 119°W with a motorized setup, I respectfully invite you to read the forum rules.

For a motorized setup in Florida your "target" should be AMC5. For the records, we call it "true south"

Unless you live in Tucson AZ, then for that city 110.0°W is your true south.

The lnbf you have should be capable of both linear and circular. The ports on the bottom are marked C & L. You need to be using one of the L ports to start with. What are your settings in your receiver for lnbf type? You also need to start with setting accurately at true south sat. Until you manage to find and lock that sat you will be chasing your tail on this.

Let's start by making sure you have your receiver setup properly. I assume you are using USALS for driving the dish. If not you need to set your receiver to USALS. So to recap, make sure you have your coax connected to one of the L ports on the lnbf. Post your settings you have in your receiver for the lnbf type & make sure you are using USALS to drive the dish.

Once we know all this is accurate we can start by locating your true south sat.
