Super Dish, 105 Not Working...

I just had a Superdish upgrade. The installer could not get the 105 sattelite switch working. They had alot of trouble in our area, NE Indiana. I have a PVR501, 301 with superdish and SW34. Switch 2 and 3 test OK with 110 and 119 Sats. Keeps saying No Connection on switch 1. I get a 30 signal strength on transponder 1 but no good on the switch test. What can I do?

It looks likeyou have an out of alignment dish. Call the installer again and have him come back to adjust the dish for 105. That is a weaker satellite than 110/119.

yup you need to repeek you dish signal nothing wrong with the switch signal below 47 in dish network recievers will not show in the check switch , in the super dish alignment for the 105 sat if your 110&119 sat ok you need to move the lnb(105 adjustable) right or left for the best signal .

Found Problem - Tech Bulletin

I finally found the problem. Apparently, the FSS Feed was incorrectly positioned at the manufacturer. Technical Information Bulletin

105 Superdish Problem

Just got through installing 105 Superdish and 110 Sat signal weak(60)
105 was 70, 119 was 115.Has anyone had this problem before. If i moved
dish on mount sideways i could get good signal on 110 and 119 but then
105 was very weak (30) I have installed several Superdishes but have
never had this proble before. Thanks!

either you have a line of site problem or your scew or elevation is off. on a 105 superdish maket the mast plumb. Put the dish at the propper scew and elevation for your area. Then put your sat meter on the 105 lnb. some times once you are on thye azimuth you may have to fine tune the elevation a liottle.. Once thats good tighten it all down and put your meter on the other 2 lnb's .
