    motorized line of sight

    Help is really needed.
I live in halifax NS canada and in my house there are few houses infron of me at a distance of 10M and few houses on the left side at a distance of 25 M. I have a motorized system HH90. If I use the tool selecting a single dish and lets say 110. The line of sight is over the front houses and the height is not enough. If I select the motoized HH90, the line of sight is on the left side (the houses that are 25 M away) and the hight is much more than enough. So my question before drilling is, Am I suppose to consider the line of sight that the motorized system hh90 showing or the one using a single lnb assuming that I am gonna use the HH90 to catch the 100. Please reply ASAP with a clear answer as its gonna drive me crazy.
    Regards

you just gotta check your line of sight on the site...

It sounds like you are going to have a small arc. There are some good FTA stations on 101, 103, and 123. The programs on 110 are DirecTV and DishNet and no FTA stations. What channels are you searching for?
Are you installing the dish as high above the ground as possible?
VA 39N, 78W, Mercury II, Fortec 31", 36", 72", SG2100, DG-280, H180 (two DSR-922's sitting in a closet and to be the next project) HDTV TV with no pay tv.

    Let's see...
It depends on the height of the other houses. In your case you should have free sight for the 101 in an angle of 26.77 degrees, for the 103 it is 25.6, for the 110 it is 21.28. For the 123 it goes down to 12.59 degrees.

I hope I could help you a little bit.

well yes thats helpful. I will try to make it as high as possible hopefully will overcome this.
How do you guys install dishes on top of your houses. Its too high for me to reach and if I get someone, will be more hard to adjust in the future as you know somestimes you need to adjust things.
I thought with the dishpointer showing me the true south as a clear line of sight will us the same line of sight to get the rest of the satellite is from different angle but my understanding from you is that it is only the true south and when it comes to the individual satellite, it will use the same individual satellite line of sight if you know what I mean as its hard to explain
