VCR event timer

The receiver's remote will control the VCR, but the event timer won't.
Any ideas?

You must ensure the EchoStar receiver's IR signal is able to bounce off an adjacent wall and back at the VCR; make sure there is nothing blocking the path such as chairs, tables, wall murals, dogs... things like that. :lol:
