Local Channels

Hi, If I decide to subscribe to DishNetwork--do I have to subscribe to the local channels where I live? For example: I receive fuzzy locals from Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN. Do I have to choose locals from only these two cities? Or, can I choose Locals from Los Angeles? I ask because in Chattanooga there are no Spanish channels, In Atlanta's local package there is only one--but If I could take the LA locals, there is quite a few spanish channels in their local package.

go to the Dish Netowrk site, under loclas, and put in your address. It tells you what you qualify for. Some areas do qualify for distants along with your locals, but those distants are only the Big 4 (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX).

You technically can only receive locals from your DMA (Designated Market Area).
