Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

Anyone interested in Jaeger 1224 SMR group buy??

The SMR-1224 horizon to horizon motor is suitable for dish sizes 1.2m to 2.4m. The pole (order separately) can be as small as 2" diameter, for small dishes, and up to 3.5" diameter for large dishes. A threaded rod provides Elevation adjustment. Weight: 15.5kg

The SMR-1224EL horizon to horizon motor incorporates a linear actuator (jack) for remote elevation adjustment. (If you have to ask what this is for, you don't need it!) Weight: 12.3kg

I have group buy thread over on Sat. Guys.

(I'll post this here and over at the other site... )

How much weight will this motor handle?

My H180 is in the trash bin because it broke in half, could not hold up a 6 foot dish.

This thing looks very similar, I'd hate to spend the money and find my dish on the ground again.

But I am interested. any prices mentioned?

I guess that would depend on shipping costs on group buy...

The average price is $180 USD for standard model.

$226 for EL model.

I just got some info that EL model might not be worth getting....so maybe just group buy for Standard model.

$180 is not bad.?
